Mentone Girl’s Grammar School Aquatic Centre

Completed and opened in January 2019, Mentone Girls new Aquatic Centre provided students and staff with a facility for swimming, diving and water polo. The centre features a 25m, 8 lane indoor pool with 1 and 3m diving towers, learn to swim pool, freshwater pools with solar heating and reticulated rainwater as well as various multipurpose facilities. The exterior features a striking design of blue glass blades, which not only give the centre a dramatic and iconic look, but provide for sunshading and light diffusion throughout the centre.
